Fueled by two Josh Ghena grand slams, Harmony Sea Kittens (2-3) closed the first half of their Pittsburgh League season with a roar, catching their rival Baltimore Factorioles (1-4) on a down night and splashing to a 21-1 victory at a wet, muddy Olbrich Park.

Sea Kittens Rally, Rally, and Rally Again

Players Outplay Kittens

The Sea Kittens were back in action Wednesday night, after rain led to a 2-week hiatus from the diamond.  Despite the gap, the Kittens showed no rust and played livelier ball than in their season-opening loss to Pedro’s, but couldn’t string enough hits together to avert a 5-2 loss to Player’s.  After falling behind 1-0, the Kittens staged a second-inning rally and had a run home, the bases loaded and nobody out, but couldn’t scratch
