The 2024 Sea Kittens feature a familiar cast- no rookies, nine players who have played more than 90 games with the Cats, and none who have appeared in fewer than 12. And so by that math, it’s absolutely once again the oldest- er, most experienced– roster the franchise has ever assembled.
Once again playing in the Madison Sport & Social Club Thursday night upper division, Sea Kittens will see a number of familiar foes. The 2023 squad made it to two title games in league play, losing 12-9 to Da Hittas in the Spring final and 8-7 to Bat and Boujee in the Summer finale. The team reached the Fall 2023 semifinals but rain ended the softball year before a champion could be crowned.
