Sea Kittens End Scuffle

Sea Kittens tussled with Run Like Mad for the second time in the Fall 2021 MSSC-Upper division season and evened the score with a well-played 9-4 victory.  The win ends a 6-game scuffle- the second-longest losing streak in team history- and sets up a third showdown between the 5th-place Kittens (1-4) and Run Like Mad (1-3-1) in the opening round of Fall season playoffs October 26. Fast Cats Start Not Enough

Sea Kittens (0-4) tangled with fellow winless MSSC-Upper Division cellar dwellers One Hit Wonders (1-2-1) at Bowman Park Tuesday night, and in the end it was the visiting Wonder bunch which emerged with its first win of the season, topping the Cats 12-9 in a closely played game. Thunder Rattles Cats

Sea Kittens played a beautiful five innings of softball September 28, outpacing Thunder Buddies 7-2 with a mix of solid defense and pitching and just enough timely hitting.
