Cats Scrap to Tie Hot Pitches

Sea Kittens and Hot Pitches battled to a memorable 13-13 tie in the Madison Sport & Social Club Thursday Night Fall softball opener August 28 at Bowman Park.  The game featured three double plays and six lead changes across six innings before ending in stalemate, but the action was anything but bland. Summer Bummer

Sea Kittens’ successful summer season (4-2-1) crashed abruptly to its end in a 13-8 first-round playoff loss to 6th-seeded Miller Low Lites (3-5-1) on August 14.  A week later the Low Lites  toppled second-seeded Bat & Boujee (4-2-1) before falling to top-seeded Da Hittas (8-0-0) in the league championship game. Cats Down Miller Low Lites

Sea Kittens (4-1-1) started slowly but rallied past Miller Low Lites (1-4-1) to wrap up MSSC Thursday night Summer regular-season play on a steamy summer night at  Bowman Park August 7.  The victory secured the #3 seed for the Cats in Summer League playoffs- which means a repeat matchup with the 6th-seeded Low Lites on August 14.  The winner will play the victor of Bat & Boujee vs. Foul Territory at 6:30 PM August 21.
