Kittens Split Pair of Wild Tourney Games

Sea Kittens fell short in their bid to capture an elusive Harmony Tournament title, finishing as runners-up in pool play and settling for a  super-fun day of Sunday softball and a pair of memorable games, without having to sweat through a third contest on a rather swampy afternoon. The Cats opened 2018 play with a showdown against a big-swinging Harmony Royals squad.  The showdown ended up being the closest game of the 2018 coed tournament.

Champions! Kittens Pounce, Send Eagles Tumbling

Harmony Sea Kittens (10-1) claimed the MSCR Monroe League Championship with a decisive 18-10 victory over Swingin’ Eagles (6-5) at Goodman Park Wednesday night.  The title is the second for Los Gatitos del Mar and fittingly crowns the winningest team in franchise history. Cats and Eagles Tangle for Title Tonight

MSCR Monroe League Championship Game Tonight’s title tilt features Monroe League first-half-winners Swingin’ Eagles (6-4) and second-half champs Harmony Sea Kittens (9-1).   Sea Kittens are in the midst of a seven-game winning streak and feature both the league’s top-scoring offense and stingiest defense, but Eagles have the distinction of handing Harmony its only loss, with Eagles coming out on top of a 9-5 game June 6 to secure the first-half title.  Eagles held Sea Kittens

Sea Cats Strut Past Wisco Kids
