MSCR Monroe League Championship Game Tonight’s title tilt features Monroe League first-half-winners Swingin’ Eagles (6-4) and second-half champs Harmony Sea Kittens (9-1). Sea Kittens are in the midst of a seven-game winning streak and feature both the league’s top-scoring offense and stingiest defense, but Eagles have the distinction of handing Harmony its only loss, with Eagles coming out on top of a 9-5 game June 6 to secure the first-half title. Harmony Sea Kittens (8-1, 4-0) square off with Wisco Kids (1-8, 0-4) in the conclusion of MSCR Monroe League regular season play, 7:30 PM Wednesday at Olbrich Park. In the midst of a 6-game winning streak, Sea Kittens look to extend the franchise record for wins in a season and get some tune-up action for Zen Master Rowe and Boom Boom Magyera in advance of the team’s August 15 Championship game against Swingin’ Eagles.
