Cats Back in Action Tonight

Hennessy repping Los Gatitos in his jersey in Jersey on game day Harmony Sea Kittens (1-0) resume MSCR Castle Rock play tonight after a rainout last Wednesday.  Sea Kittens will square off against Annihilation in Flight (0-1} at 7:15 PM on Olbrich Field 1. Dynamo Dan Oele will assume managerial duties, as both Joe Hennessy and Mama Cat O’Brien will miss tonight’s game – the first time birth have missed the same game since September 30, 2010, which was the day after Joe’s mother passed away.  There are limited acceptable reasons for missing Sea Kittens games… Hennessy caught a striped bass from the Atlantic today, adding New Jersey to his life list of states where he’s pet sea kittens, and solidifying his comfort with the September vacation, though he still wishes there was crappy weather in Madison.  O’Brien will never think twice about trading Infosys dirt for sand between her toes. Also absent tonight will be Andy Mercury Stevens, who is out longer than Aaron Rodgers with a knee injury.  Stevens sustained the injury before he made his ballyhooed return to the Cats while playing in an unsanctioned Frisbee game.  He may be the youngest Sea Kitten, but wish he didn’t learn the hard way that he’s too old for that. Still, Harmony will have a solid 11 available for the game and are favored to win… as long as the bats and gloves show up!
