Hot off the team’s big game 1 win, the Sea Kittens’ scoreless innings streak stretched into game 2 of the night, as Kornis and the D put up goose eggs in the game’s first 5 frames. Unfortunately the Kits hits no longer found openings and Echo Tap held the Kittens scoreless as well. A bang-bang play squelched a 2-outs Kittens rally in the bottom of the 5th, and the Tap opened scored in the top of the 6th, putting up 4. The cats scratched one out in the bottom half of the inning, but a 2-run HR all but salted away the win for Echo Tap in the 7th. The Kits rallied for 2 more to cut their deficit to 7-3, but it was too little, too late. Still a fun and very well-played game for Sea Kittens!
