Meow!  Hits were the only thing raining last night as the Sea Kittens got back to winning ways.  Some sharp fielding in the early innings kept the Slump Busters hitters at bay, and a 7-run first gave the Kittens a perch they never relinquished.  The next game is 7 PM at Olbrich, vs. Packer Inn. I expect we’ll evenly matched with them- early scouting suggests they hit the ball hard, but have some gaps in their defense.
Game 4 Salmon Snacks
 
Really there are salmon snacks all around after that game, but here are some highlights:
Katherine Curtis- first big-league hit and run scored!  (I have that ball for you).
Nick Legler- 4-4, triple, home run, 3 runs scored, 4 RBI and a clean game at SS
Matt Kornis- 1-3, double 2 runs, 2 RBI; 4 IP 1 run allowed, 1 walk, 5 strikeouts
Gretchen Hansen for stellar play at the corners, 2 runs scored, 3 RBI
Tom Cichosz- 3-3, triple, 2 runs, 2 RBI
Joe Hennessy- 3-4, 2 doubles, triple, 1 run, 2 RBI
Kristen Johnson- drawing a walk in the 4th and getting a taste of baserunning!
Christie Ralston- fielding a hot grounder in RF, getting it back in, no problem.
Erin O’Brien 2-3, 2 runs scored
Beth Monaco 2-4, 1  run, 2 RBI
