Delayed by a week of wet weather, the 2018 Sea Kittens are rarin’ to take the field tonight for their Summer season opener. Wisco Kids will be on the other side of the diamond, a squad the Cats have never faced. In fact, three of five Sea Kittens opponents in the Monroe League will be unfamiliar foes, and the Cats haven’t seen the Caribou Bou Crew since 2014. Sea Kittens are 4-4 in their opening day history, dropping a dreary and uninspired opener to We Got the Runs in 2017 after winning big on Opening Night the previous two seasons. David Zen Master Rowe will make his second consecutive Opening Night start.
