100 Days! 93 Days!

At least by my reckoning- my semi-informed expectation is that Wednesday night softball will begin May 16, 2017.  And if it’s May 9-  93 days!!! Later this week the first biographies of SEA KITTENS LEGENDS will be released-  the Hansens, Kristen Johnson, and Tommy Tom Tom Seahorse Cichosz.  Watch for it!  These four were all Sea kitten originals who had storied and lengthy careers with Los Gatitos del Mar.  After that look for a scintillating recap of the team’s first season.  Our plan here at SeaKittenSoftball.org is to alternate between Meet the Sea Kittens biographies and season recaps as we approach the 2018 opener.    The summer roster is shaping up, and it looks to feature an amazing degree of continuity. Ever wonder how the Sea Kittens fare during May?  Poorly.  It’s the team’s worst month, by far- the only month during Summer League play for which Sea Kittens have a losing record. The Cats are A) more likely to lose and B) more likely to get wet in May than in any other month.  But don’t let that stop you from getting itchy for softball-  maybe this May will be purr-fect!  Or rainy.  And maybe the Cats will all get excited about Happy Hour Softball this April. 🙂
