Stephen “Slash” Grutzik completed the 3rd cycle in Sea Kitten history and Joe Hennessy added five more hits to pace the Cats’ offense in a 21-5 win over Hot Pitches (3-3) last Thursday night at Bowman Park.  The Kitten defense was flawless behind starting pitcher David Zen Master Rowe as the team put together its most complete performance of the summer season.  The win moved the 3-3 Cats back to 0.500 and the team secured

Cats Can’t Capture Crown

After enduring a 3-game losing streak to finish the Spring regular season at 3-3 in Madison Sport and Social Club Thursday night play, Sea Kittens battled their way to the league championship game, winning back-to-back one-run playoff games before falling 12-9 in the final to Da Hittas, who completed a perfect 8-0 season.
