Favorite Animal: Sea Kittens!

Brad “Sweet Thing” Harkins debuted for Sea Kittens in the 2014 Harmony Tourney and contributed greatly- whilst wearing a straw hat- to the first win the Sea Kitten side ever achieved in the tournament, Harkins made his first Summer League appearance in 2015, played the Tourney again in that year, and joined Sea Kittens full-time for the Summer 2016 campaign, earning Rookie of the Year honors as he established himself as a reliable presence in the outfield, steady with the bat, and as a dervish on the basepaths.

After sitting out for the 2021 season, Sweet Thing returned to the Sea Kittens in Summer, 2022, but his biggest question remains:

Why does it have to be a diamond?  Why can’t it be pentagonal, or an octagon?  Think outside the diamond!

On July 25, 2018, he joined the Home Run Club, leading off a 7-4 win over Steal Your Base with a drive into the left-center field bushes.
