Come enjoy early summer with Sea Kittens softball Thursday night, as the Cats (3-0) square off with Brews on First? (2-1) at Bowman Park in a 6:30 PM game. Sea Kittens hope to continue its hot-hitting ways to keep pace with Thirsty Thursday Enthusiasts and Bat and Boujee, two other unbeatens in MSSC Thursday night play. Brews? looks to get back on track after falling 22-7 to Thirsty Thursday last week. The battle within the battle will be to see which side is ready to play in a 88* dustbowl after three weeks of games in the 50s.After the game, Sea Kittens will be firing up the grill and hanging out at the park for post-game barbecue & revelry- it’s a great chance for fans to mix, mingle, and meet the softball stars whose exploits they follow on the field. Autographs will be available, but please be respectful of the Kittens. There’s also a playground within parental shouting distance. All are welcome; bring your own grillables or a somethin’ somethin’ on the side!

Game Notes
- Sea Kittens have only once before opened any season 4-0. In 2017 The Cats went 6-0 in MSCR Fall league play before being derailed by Stephen Grutzik’s Pitches Be Trippin’ in the season finale. That’s why he’s a Sea Kitten now.
- Zen Master Rowe is but two runs away from becoming the third Sea Kitten to score 200 or more times in his career, joining Joe Hennessy (248) and Dan DynamOele (201).
- DynamOele’s first trip to the batter’s box will bee the 400th plate appearance of his career, moving him past Boom Boom Magyera and into 4th on the all-time list for Sea Kittens.
- The Cats will be awarding the first three Great Fillet of the Game pins for the 2022 season after the game!
