Kittens Overcome Jackalopes

The Kittens dug another hole at the beginning of game 2, slipping behind 6-1 after 2 innings, but an inside-the park HR by Tom “Tumbleweed” Cichosz- capped by a bloody, head-banging collision at the plate- ignited the Kits. Two huge come-from-behind 1-run victories put an exclamation point on the Sea Kittens’ 7-3 inaugural campaign.  Kittens shined from all corners of the diamonds.  After falling behind 11-1 against Packers Inn, the Kittens settled down and started clawing their way back into the ballgame.  Katherine Curtis punctuated a 4-run third with a bases loaded, bases clearing double, hustling to 3rd on the throw to the plate.  She tied the game in the 4th with a two-out single,
