Two huge come-from-behind 1-run victories put an exclamation point on the Sea Kittens’ 7-3 inaugural campaign, and Kittens shined from all corners of the diamonds.  After falling behind 11-1 against Packers Inn, the Kittens settled down and started clawing their way back into the ballgame.  Katherine Curtis punctuated a 4-run third with a bases loaded, bases clearing double, hustling to 3rd on the throw to the plate.  She tied the game in the 4th with

Joe Hennessy had the first 2-HR game in Sea Kitten history (both of the inside-the-park variety) as the Cats avenged last week’s loss and dominated the Badgers in a slick 9-2 win, taking the nightcap of the doubleheader.

Bombers 5, Sea Kittens 3

A make-up of their June 2 rainout, Bombers clinched the Pittsburgh League first-half title with a hard-fought 5-3 win.  Sea Kittens only mustered 8 baserunners in the game.
