Vote for the Kittens’ Great Fillet of the Summer!

You didn’t have to see it to believe it!

Before the Harmony Sea Kittens’ summer season fades fast into memory, take a moment to remember some of the team’s most sanguine moments in a somewhat unspectacular campaign.  Although the Cats started fast and faded to a 4-6 record, the team ran, jumped, climbed, crawled and sprawled with vim and vigor throughout the summer, their lithe bodies in jubilant pursuit of a faux-leather ball. Sea Kittens introduced a new interactive feature for the 2019 summer season: a chance for the team and its fans to name a single moment the “Sea Kittens Great Fillet of the Game.”  It was met with relative apathy, but the fact that 4-8 people took the time to vote weekly is perhaps more than management should have expected.    But now, with 10 fine memories selected- one from each game- there is a chance to name the summer’s singular on-field moment, with some sort of trophy headed to the player or players involved.  As always, the rule is “you didn’t have to see it to believe it!”  And along those lines, as few of these moments were actually captured on camera, none will be shared here so as not to bias towards selection of a recorded event. To make it easier, poll participants may choose up to two events as their favorite.  The poll closes Tuesday August 27, in advance of the Kittens’ Fall League opener.
